DR. MARK McCLOUD

Dr. Mark McCloud is a visionary speaker, consultant, and nationally recognized thought leader committed to advancing organizational and cultural transformation. With his spirited and engaging approach, nuanced thought processes, and powerful storytelling, Dr. McCloud assists organizations in cultivating environments where all individuals feel valued and empowered to succeed.

His dynamic keynotes and workshops include topics such as building culturally aware organizations, team development, professional growth, motivation, leadership, and strategies for recruiting and retaining individuals from varied backgrounds. Dr. McCloud has over 29 years of experience delivering training focused on leadership, career development, identity awareness, and fostering belonging—spanning the fields of financial services, K–12 education, mental health, non-profits, and higher education.

Currently, Dr. McCloud serves as the Vice Chancellor for Access and Engagement at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he provides guidance to the Chancellor’s Cabinet and university community on matters related to access, engagement, and universal excellence.

Dr. McCloud holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Personnel Services, as well as a Doctorate in Higher Education, all from the University of Mississippi.

A nationally recognized educator, change agent, and motivational speaker, Dr. McCloud has been featured in regional and national media outlets, most notably Forbes. He is the co-host of Two Sisters and The Doc podcast, which explores topics including mental health, relationships, boundaries, and careers. Mark is also a 2022 graduate of the University of Tennessee Executive Leadership Institute, the former Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Southern Association for College and Employers, the Past-President of the Martin, TN Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, Inc. and the 2020 recipient of the Mosaic Award from SoACE for his leadership in building inclusive communities.

His philanthropic interests include St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Komen Foundation, the Rotary Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club.
